Minhá Sabiá

Minha Sabiá was adapted from a 1962 samba song, Sabiá Roxa by os Tincoãs. I don’t know who brought it to Capoeira. I published the Capoeira version chords on Ultimate Guitar a while ago. It’s a beautiful song, and I wanted to make an arrangement for it. I learned GarageBand last week and that gave me the tools to make it happen! I asked my husband and granddaughter to sing the chorus – so it’s a very special family song now. I spent the weekend of 16th-17th of December 2023 working on it. Including the video below.
